Will You Talk About Him On Monday?

I just left the grocery store! It’s packed.

The holiday is here. School is out. Some are having a cookout.

Posts on Facebook are flowing. People are talking about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

But will people be talking about Jesus on Monday? Many churches will be packed this weekend.

But will they be packed the following Sunday?

Many will say, “He is risen” this weekend. But will the same people be saying those three words next week?

Will people be talking about Him on Monday?

Christmas and Easter is when a lot of people talk about Jesus. But will people talk about Jesus the rest of the year?

Will people remember the great sacrifice Jesus endured for the sins of the world, John 1:29?

Will they worship the Father in Spirit and truth, as Jesus instructed, John 4:23-24?

Will they walk on the narrow path as He taught in Matthew 7:12-14?

A lot is being said about Jesus this week. But will people be talking about Him on Monday?

Indeed, He has risen from the grave, John 20:1-7. The apostles saw Him alive.

Paul said more than 500 people saw Him alive, 1 Corinthians 15:1-9.

We have the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) so we can get to know Jesus, believe in Him, and follow Him.

He’s worth talking about everyday. He’s worth posting about everyday. He’s worth worshipping everyday!

Will people talk about Him on Monday?

I shouldn’t worry about what others will or will not do. I need to speak about Him, live for Him, and not be ashamed of Him everyday.

So should you!

I CAN DO and SO CAN YOU. Life is all about having the right kind of attitude. We will face challenges. We have to decide how we will respond. Getting an ICD (Internal Cardio-Verter Defibrillator) in 2010 forced me to make a decision about my mindset. I decided that I CAN DO. What about you? Let's go. 1. Reblogged this on I CAN DO and commented:

I wrote this a few years ago and was thinking about it again this morning. Indeed, He is risen.
