“Keep Moving The Finish Line Back…”

That’s a quote that I heard a friend of mine mention a few months ago in a Facebook post. I can’t stop thinking about it. 

“Keep moving the finish line back…”

It’s a great quote. Too many people start some fitness program with a goal in mind. 

Maybe it’s a 12 week program. People go 12 weeks and then…boom…they quit. 

Maybe it’s a family reunion or holiday. They focus on that event (which is good) but then they quit. 

Eventually, they need to start over again. 

But here’s a secret weapon…just keep moving the finish line back. As you approach your goal and even hit it, enjoy it and then move the finish line back. 

When you keep doing that you will always keep things fresh. 

I CAN DO and SO CAN YOU. Life is all about having the right kind of attitude. We will face challenges. We have to decide how we will respond. Getting an ICD (Internal Cardio-Verter Defibrillator) in 2010 forced me to make a decision about my mindset. I decided that I CAN DO. What about you? Let's go.
