Are you ready to conquer the day? Are you ready to hustle? Are you ready to change the world? Are you ready to work 10, 12, 14 hours to accomplish what needs to get done?

DON’T!

Instead, I want you to WASTE A DAY. Here me out before you close or delete this. I heard this phrase “waste a day” from somewhere. Maybe a podcast or blog in times past. It stuck with me. I like it. I have done it as well.

What if we all just wasted a day. Maybe the word “waste” is not the right word.

  1. Every day is a blessing.
  2. Every day counts.

Yet every day can count in a variety of ways. Rest is key. Allowing our brains to become bored can be good. What if we all truly slowed down, kept our calendars emptied, and used up all of our vacation days. Use a day where you just kind of hang out to recharge the batteries. A day to maybe to consider the path you’re currently on? A day where very little is on. A day where you go to the movies all day. I did that last Friday. I took a vacation day. I got my workout in and then went to see Avengers: Endgame… TWICE! WHAT! It was epic.

Waste a day.

It’s okay if you take a day off from blogging. Your followers aren’t going anywhere. If they do, they weren’t really following you anyway. Turn off Facebook and Instagram. I can promise you that you will not miss anything important.

Do you need to waste a day? Do you need to switch up your routine?

  1. Take a day. Maybe today is the day.
  2. Or maybe you plan a day for next week or next month.
  3. Then enjoy.

Let me know what you think. Let me know what you decide to do. Have fun. Enjoy life.

I CAN DO…SO CAN YOU.

I CAN DO and SO CAN YOU. Life is all about having the right kind of attitude. We will face challenges. We have to decide how we will respond. Getting an ICD (Internal Cardio-Verter Defibrillator) in 2010 forced me to make a decision about my mindset. I decided that I CAN DO. What about you? Let's go.
