The Benefit Of Becoming A World Traveler.

This past week my family and I went to Disney World. It was an epic trip! My first time there. While visiting, I was able to talk to quite a few of the employees. I learned there were a lot of college students from abroad. I spoke with quite a few people from different parts of Africa.

I had the opportunity to visit Africa in 2014. What an amazing trip! I visited South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. It was a working trip where I and a few other men presented about 58 Bible lessons.

Having the experience to travel to Africa and other places like Israel and Germany allowed me to better connect with some of the people I met.

It can be easy to live in a bubble. Many individuals will never move from their hometown. There’s nothing wrong with that, but being able to venture out to different places to learn about a variety of cultures is worth the time. The conversations I had were great reflecting upon my visit to Africa.

I CAN DO and SO CAN YOU. Life is all about having the right kind of attitude. We will face challenges. We have to decide how we will respond. Getting an ICD (Internal Cardio-Verter Defibrillator) in 2010 forced me to make a decision about my mindset. I decided that I CAN DO. What about you? Let's go. 1. I agree, traveling to different parts of the world is great if a person is able, though it can get expensive. There are several places in the world I would like to visit, but I must admit, traveling alone is not always that much fun, at least for me. But maybe I will start getting to some of these places yet. Enjoy your day!πŸ˜ƒπŸŒž

    • Yes sir! I agree. Going to Israel changed my way of thinking. My round trip ticket was $760 total. I was shocked! I went with 4 other guys so we shared a hotel and bread and breakfast. One trip to Disney would be about 3-4 trips somewhere over seas!

      • Yes, it depends on where a person is going for sure and it’s a little more expensive from here to most places, still I was surprised that airfare wasn’t so bad. I am planning a trip this summer and my hotel will be more than the plane. I like to see other places and learn about different cultures, although this trip won’t be so different but a first for me anyway so I’m looking forward to it.😁

      • Excellent. Yes, depending on where you go. I have a few friends that went to Iceland earlier this year. I was shocked at how cheap their plane tickets were. I have not travelled alone too much, but it is something that I’ve thought about doing.

      • Although traveling alone doesn’t stop me, I have found that traveling with someone really adds to the enjoyment of the trip. Enjoy your day Benjamin and thanks for stopping by today!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Ί

  2. Traveling is good for the soul! I try to travel as often as I can. Africa is on my bucket list. Not sure what part yet but I want to do an African Safari. Maybe Tanzania

    • Sounds epic. I totally agree. I had another opportunity to go to Africa in 2016. But due to some health concerns, I was not able. Keeping track with what’s going on politically is important depending upon what part you visit. The government in Zimbabwe hindered a few trips for some friends of mine. It just wasn’t safe or wise to go.
