“No One Is Coming To Save You!”

The book was worth buying just for that one sentence.

“No one is coming to save you.”

What book?

I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi.

I listened to a podcast and then I bought this book.

It was a great investment for $10.

“No one is coming to save you.” When it comes to your financial well being it’s true!

Who should read it?

1. If you’re in college, read it. If you’re done, but still have tons of debt read it.

2. If you have a lot of credit card debt, read it.

3. If you’re working full time and doing well, read it.

4. If you’re trying to negotiate a pay raise, read it.

5. If you’re dealing with a family financial matter, read it.

6. If you need to learn more about 401k and IRA’s, read it.

7. If you want to take more control and power over your money, read it.

You may not need to read it all of the way through.

But remember this: No one is coming to save you.

Politicians make great promises, but they won’t save you.

Your peers won’t save you.

Your neighbors won’t save you.

Social security won’t save you.

The company you work for won’t save you. They can and will replace you in a heart beat.

Doing nothing will not work.

Take action.

“No one is coming to save you.”

I CAN DO and SO CAN YOU. Life is all about having the right kind of attitude. We will face challenges. We have to decide how we will respond. Getting an ICD (Internal Cardio-Verter Defibrillator) in 2010 forced me to make a decision about my mindset. I decided that I CAN DO. What about you? Let's go.
